Gingerbread House's.......

Grandma Cindy loves getting all the grandkids together to make crafts for each Holiday. And with Christmas being just around the corner it was time to make Gingerbread houses.
The kids all had a blast squeezing icing on their houses and decorating it however they like. Even though some had a little more candy on them then others, depending on how hungry the little elf was. They all turned out super cute and the kids had a great time making them.

Goldilocks and the Three Bears..

Goldilocks and the Three Bears...
Alyson
(Tyler and Tiffany's)
Gavin
(Jerrett and Amy's)

Trevin
(Devin and Malory's)

Brogun
(Derrick and Monique's)
With having 4 new babies born to the Moore family this year. We thought it would be fun to do something with the babies together for Halloween. Grandma Cindy thought that "Goldilocks and the Three Bears" would be fun. And we all loved the idea. So Malory went to work on making them all little hats to wear. And I must say that they all turned out super cute.
Maybe we can come up with another cute idea for next year while we still have some say in what they wear.

Moore Family Reunion at Fish Lake...

The Kevin and Cindy Moore Family...

In August we had the annual Kevin and Cindy Moore Family reunion at Fish Lake. We all camped at Lake Side camp ground in our trailors and had a blast together. Grandma Cindy arranged some great games for the kiddos, but we all got to join in. The weather was not the greatest so we stayed in for most of the weekend.
Saturday the weather was not too bad. So most of us went out on the boat and did a little fishing. Or just relaxed and enjoyed the ride.
As always when you camp there is plenty of eatting going on. And this trip was no exception. We all split up the meals and took turns. I must say all of it was delicious!
Marcea's best friend Stephanie came up as well as Derricks mission companion Gregg Golden and his wife Amber. It was so fun having them there and we hope they join us again next year.
Amy, who is the family photographer scoped out great places for all of us to have family photo's taken. And we all loved the way they turned out. Especially with each family making tie dye shirts at Kevin and Cindys the monday before. Great Idea!
Needless to say the weekend went by way too fast, but everyone had a super fun time. Can't wait till next year!

It was Gorgeous and so much fun to be able to relax and just enjoy everyones company. While we were there, my mom helped me take some pictures of Trevin for his birth announcements. Heritage Days 09...

We all had a great time at Heritage Days once again. Everyone enjoys getting together with family, friends and neighbors at the park for lots of fun. The concert on Friday night was great and the kids all loved dancing to the music.
Saturday morning was the parade where the grand kids love to be on the firetrucks and throw candy on the way to the park for a fun filled day. And we all love Grandma Cindy's Navajo tacos, hamburgers, 1/4lb hot dogs and Grandma Allen's scones. YUMMY!
Big congrats to all of the family that won in the duck race! Always a great time.
The town BBQ was moved to the cultural hall because of a down pour of rain. It was delicous and we all stuffed ourselves
I think the highlight of the day is always the fireworks at the end of the evening. Everyone enjoys kicking back and watching the great show. We are so blessed to live in such a great community with wonderful friends. And look forward to Heritage Days again next year!

Monday June 16 2009

Today is Carson's birthday. He is 8 years old. We had a fun day with the kids. He wanted a star wars birthday cake. I made an outer space cake with jet transformers on it. When the kids came (Sienna, Brogun, Drake, Carson, Madison, Grayson, Alyson, Ashlyn and Gavin) (yes, they were all there) We made flying saucers out of paper plates. They had fun and they turned out cute. There was glitter everywhere. I had lots of help, Malory, Amy and Monique were there helping with the babies and crafts. There was almost wall to wall babies on the living room floor. Just enough room for little Trevin when he get here, which should be pretty soon.

We also made Father's Day presents for the dads. Amy and Malory wrote a cute poem to go with the candy ties we made.

Later that night we ate cake and had an asteroids shower (little gifts wrapped in crumped tin foil that we threw at each other. It was a good day for me and I hope the kids enjoyed it also.

Kicking Cousins

We decided to lay Brogun (on the left) and Gavin (on the right)under Broguns little activity mobile to play together the other night. But quickly found out that the way these two little guys are moving and kicking, someone had to be sitting close by to keep them apart. More then once, one of the little guys managed to get a good kick in on the other one. But neither one really seemed to pay much attention to it. And when we had them turned the same direction they kept grabbing hands. I am sure they will love to hear about this in there older years. That's the great part about parents memories and photos.
